Slim Compact Design Like other products from Pioneer, the VSX-S520 features a stylish black finish along with a slim line profile combined with low heat generation of class D amps and a low-profile design that makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. Built-in Dual Band Wi-Fi Enjoy network features such as audio streaming via wireless LAN connection. The built-in Wi-Fi is dual band, supporting both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency channels. By using the 5 GHz band, you can enjoy steady and uninterrupted streaming of audio files.
Ultra HD (4K/60p/4:4:4/24-bit) Upscaling/Pass-Through with HDCP 2.2
The feature lets you take advantage of the highest-quality video source for viewing on a 4K TV. Dolby Atmos for 3.1.2ch with Surround Enhancer The VSX-S520 supports up to 3.1.2ch Dolby Atmos*. With DSP, virtual surround speakers deliver the sound that usually comes from surround speakers. The 3.1.2ch is virtually expanded to 5.1.2ch to create 3D surround sound field. Even those who have difficulty installing rear speakers can also enjoy various audio formats** in a wide sound field with Surround Enhancer, as well Dolby Atmos.
Next Generation Video Standard Ready
The VSX-S520 is ready for the next generation video standard HDR (High Dynamic Range) and BT.2020, which were adopted by Ultra HD Blu-ray. HDR is a technology that drastically expands the brightness peak, providing a higher contrast between light and dark images, which creates even more life-like pictures. BT.2020 is a new color-recording technology allowing a much wider gamut than the current BT.709 standard, enabling vividly rich coloration.
Chromecast built-in
The VSX-S520 comes with Chromecast built-in, so you can use your mobile device to stream your favorite music, radio, or podcasts to the receiver. You can control the audio from anywhere in the house using Chromecast-enabled apps running on your personal device—iPhone, iPad, Android phone and tablet, Mac and Windows laptop, and Chromebook. Enjoy limitless streams of your favorite online music, sports, talk and news entertainment services, including Spotify® and for the first time TuneIn*1, TIDAL MCACC® Auto Room Tuning Create the optimum acoustic environment with Pioneer’s MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System), developed with the expertise of professional recording studios. With the custom microphone, the system automatically compensates for differences in speaker size, level and distance, and equalizes response. As an innovative solution for the phase lag between the subwoofer and the main channel speakers caused by the network filter, Phase Control compensates the delayed bass to improve sound synchronization.
Intuitive Control with New Pioneer Remote App (iOS/Android)*
Enjoy smooth control using your beloved device. With the free Pioneer Remote app, you can use your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch or Android smartphone for operating the AV receiver, or play back tunes stored on your device. You can also select internet radio stations, and play songs from your media server. AV receiver needs to be connected to a home LAN network in a wireless LAN environment.
Multi-room Audio Offers a Variety of Ways to Enjoy Music
FlareConnect* shares audio from network and external audio input sources between compatible components. Enjoy effortless multi-room playback of LP records, CDs, network music services, and more with supported components and speaker systems. Music selection, speaker grouping, and playback management across the home are built into the Pioneer Remote App**. * Sharing audio from external inputs is enabled with a future firmware update. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@sweetheartdeals.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
