Overview
The Bender Cello Endpin with Titanium Shaft and 28mm Plug (EP3373) is engineered for superior acoustic performance and ergonomic ease. Featuring a finely threaded 28mm plug, this endpin is optimized for use with a properly reamed 1:17 taper, maximizing contact area for improved resonance and reduced mechanical loss. Whether you're performing or testing instruments in a shop, the Bender endpin offers a balance of tonal clarity and functional innovation.
Instead of a conventional thumbscrew, this model uses a precision collet nut to secure the shaft. This mechanism requires less force, evenly distributes clamping pressure, and avoids concentrated stress that often causes shaft damage—especially on lighter materials. Available with either a hollow or solid titanium shaft, each version offers distinct tonal advantages: the hollow shaft boosts upper harmonics and reduces weight, while the solid version provides enhanced stability and depth when fully extended.
Designed for professional cellists and luthiers alike, the EP3373 delivers uncompromising performance and modular convenience.
