Overview
The PLCM18BC is a rear-view backup camera that easily mounts to your vehicle’s license plate. Paired with an in-vehicle monitor, it’s a great way to increase the safety and security of your vehicle. This powerful camera is equipped with true color reproduction, a resolution of 420 TV lines.
It works in a variety of weather conditions and at night, thanks to IP67-compliant weatherproofing, built-in fog resistance, and excellent low lux performance. This camera even has the ability to project distance scale lines onto the monitored image — so you can tell how far away nearby objects are.
And it’s finished in a unique zinc black chrome, a dark color that fits well with many cars’ exteriors. 17 foot male-to-male RCA cable included.
Mounts Easily on Your License Plate
The PLCM18BC can be installed easily on your existing license plate mounting locations, and is suitable for both top as well as bottom mount on the license plate.
RCA Output
This camera also features RCA video output for connecting to other source inputs. Use your camera with a review mirror monitor, an existing in-dash TV, a DVR, or any other RCA-compatible video input.
Displays Distance from Objects
This camera displays “distance lines” on your monitor, clearly marking how far you are from visible obstacles. That way you can be sure how close objects are to you, letting you drive safe and secure.
