The Universal Audio OX Guitar Amp Top Box Attenuator (UA-OX-U) is a premium reactive load box and guitar recording system designed for tube guitar amps. It provides studio-quality mic'd amp sounds, allowing you to play and record your amp at its optimal settings, from clean tones to fully cranked, at any volume level. With its mic, room, and speaker cabinet emulations, you can easily achieve professional-grade tones without the need for additional miking.
One of its standout features is the Universal Audio Dynamic Speaker Modeling, which accurately replicates speaker drive, breakup, and cone cry, offering an authentic and realistic speaker attenuator experience. The OX features a range of finely-tuned guitar amp attenuation levels, providing silent practice options or the ability to dial in full band volume. It also includes built-in world-class Universal Audio EQ, compression, delay, and reverb effects. The OX Amp Top Box offers selectable 4, 8, and 16-ohm operation, along with headphone, balanced line outs, and S/PDIF digital outs for stereo recording. Additionally, it can be paired with the OX mobile or desktop app over Wi-Fi for easy editing and saving of RIG presets.
