Overview
The third volume of Twelve Duets for Two Violins by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arranged by Endre Granat, continues the collection of expertly adapted duets. Based on the 1798 J. André edition from Offenbach and the 1800 Artaria & Co. edition from Vienna, these duets were transcribed from various Mozart works, including piano sonatas, violin-piano duets, a string quartet, and the Clarinet Trio. The anonymous transcribers, likely part of Mozart's inner circle, preserved his original phrasing while introducing contemporary bowings and fingerings for today’s musicians. This volume offers more rich, classical repertoire for advanced violinists.
