This premium violin case from GEWA combines cutting-edge materials and German engineering to provide outstanding protection, aesthetics, and usability. Designed for 4/4 violins, it features a striking Green/Black colorway (also available in Gold, Black, and Bordeaux) with an optional subway (side) handle. The interior includes a padded black velour lining and a protective instrument blanket, while a padded suspension system isolates the violin from shocks. GEWA’s patented swivel bow holder at the frog and flexible bow bridge near the tip offer delicate bow protection.
The outer shell uses GEWA’s “Air Shell Technology,” a high-tech molded material with a mesh/carbon-look design that balances strength, flexibility, and insulation by absorbing impact loads rather than transferring them inside. The case also provides excellent temperature and moisture insulation. Carrying options include a hand-sewn perforated GEWA leather handle, optional side handle, two detachable neoprene backpack straps, black hardware with dual combination locks, and removable internal accessory and music sheet pockets.
