The Cort KX507MSSDB KX Series Multi Scale 7 String Electric Guitar in Star Dust Black is a cutting-edge instrument designed for modern guitarists who demand versatility and a distinctive look. This guitar is an evolution of the KX500MS, the first multi-scale guitar developed by Cort, and it brings modern updates and a new name, the KX507 Multi Scale.
Featuring a mesmerizing Poplar Burl top on a Mahogany body, the guitar produces a warm yet punchy high-midrange sound that cuts through the mix with authority. It is equipped with the multi-voiced Fishman® Fluence Modern Humbucker set, offering limitless possibilities in the tonal spectrum. The guitar's 25.5” – 27” multi-scale frets, with the neutral fret now on the 8th position, ensure better playability and a more natural spread angle of the frets, especially on the lower frets.
The individual hardtail bridge for each string feeds through the body, resulting in greatly improved sustain, superb string separation for greater articulation, and precise intonation. The Macassar Ebony fingerboard with the new “Raindrop” inlay provides a distinctive look, while the 5-piece Maple and Purple Heart neck offers strength, stability, and a focused sound in conjunction with the body’s acoustic resonance.
